DPWH travel advisory update: 13 roads still closed due to ‘Santi’

MANILA, (PNA) -– As of 3 p.m. Monday, 13 road sections – five in the Cordillera, two in Region II, five in Region III, and one in Region V, were still closed due to the effects of typhoon “Santi”.

In a travel advisory, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) noted that the following roads and bridges were not passable to vehicular traffic:

(1)In Cordillera Administrative Region: Apayao-Calanasan Rd, Km 672+500, Rabaw Section;

(2) Gurel-Bokod-Kabayan Rd, Km 326+329, Luakan Section in Benguet;

(3) Banaue-Mayoyao-Aguinaldo-Isabela Rd, Km 345+150-km 370+400,in Ifugao;

(4) Mt Province Boundary-Cagayan Rd, Bugnay Section, Km 425+310-km 425+910 in Kalinga;

(5) Jct. Talubin-Barlig-Natonin-Paracelis-Calacad Rd, km 429+434-km464+000, Natonin-Paracelis Section in Mountain Province;

(6) In Region 2: Pinaripad Bridge, KO 349+467.931 CDMA Dalamdam-Pinaripad Palacan By Pass Road in Quirino;

(7) Sta. Maria Overflow Bridge in Isabela;

(8) In Region 3: Baliuag-Candaba-Sta. Ana, Rd KO066+500-KO88+300, San Agustin Paliqui, Candaba;

(9) Sto Tomas-Minalin-Macabebe Rd, San Bartolome, Sto Tomas, KO88+100-KO88+290;

(10)Bahay Pare-San Luis-Sto. Domingo Road, Km 69+800-km 69+830;

(11) San Simon-Baliuag Rd, 62+000-km64+000, San Miguel, San Simon;

(12) Candaba-San Miguel Rd, Km 72+000-km 77+800 in Pampanga; and

(13) Albay West Coastal Road, Dumalagan Section, K0511+020, Libon, Albay.

The DPWH Quick Action Teams already deployed maintenance personnel and equipment in these areas, to clear the affected roads.
