MANILA, (PNA) — A Philippine Airlines flight bound for Nagoya, Japan was cancelled on Friday due to aircraft situation, the Ninoy Aquino International Airport flight information service said.
Flight PR-438 was scheduled to depart at 2 pm.
Aircraft situation would mean that the airplane has encountered either mechanical, engine, or technical problems.
Also, six domestic flights were called off due to bad weather.
As of 1 pm Friday, the Department of Transportation and Communications said four Cebu Pacific Air (CEB) flights and two from PAL Express were affected.
These were for CEB, flights 5J-521/522/523/524 all having the Manila-Naga-Manila routes; and for PAL Express flights 2P-014/015 Manila-Tuguegarao-Manila routes.
