MANILA, (PNA) — Naval Forces in Northern Luzon has deployed three disaster response units to Aurora in wake of the threat posed by typhoon “Santi” in the province.
This was revealed Friday by Major Emmanuel Garcia, Northern Luzon Command acting spokesman, in a text message to the Philippines News Agency.
Each team consist of one officer and 12 enlisted personnel and one M-35 truck are loaded with relief provision and other emergency supplies.
These units will be based in Casiguran, Aurora during the duration of typhoon “Santi” to help residents in case flooding or any typhoon-related disasters hit the area.
