ISLAMABAD, (PNA/IRNA) — A roadside bomb blast Sunday killed at least three Pakistani soldiers near a tribal region, security sources said.
A security official said eight other soldiers were also injured when a convoy came under attack near the North Waziristan tribal region.
Militants routinely launch attacks on convoys of security forces during their movement in the region usually on Sundays.
A curfew was imposed in the area after the blast and injured were taken to a military hospital, locals said.
No group has so far claimed responsibility for the blast.
