TEHRAN, (PNA/IRNA) -– Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has said Iran is ready to enter talks with the P5+1 and stressed that Tehran is “not after negotiations for the sake of negotiations.”
He said Tehran is ready to enter the talks with open eyes and with focus on the nuclear rights of the nation.
He expressed hope that the talks would reach a conclusion very soon.
Commenting on the diplomatic achievements of the Iranian delegation in New York, he said he believed that Iran, despite its brief presence there, managed to make remarkable developments in the intentional public opinion particularly in that of the US.
Noting that the purposeful changes are to the benefit of the Iranian nation, Zarif said Iran managed to both remove its false picture depicted as a threat and alter the international approach for its own interests.
He said Iran has foiled all plots hatched by the Zionist regime and its lobbies in the US, noting that Irans unrealistic portray has been washed away, thanks to the New York visit.
Zarif added that the Iranian President Hassan Rohani managed to convey a message to the world and the US nation stressing that Iran is not to abandon its rights.
Furthermore, he noted, Iran offered a new image of its own to the world by disclosing the nature of the Zionist regimes dark propaganda against Iran.
