TEHRAN, (PNA/IRNA) — Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif will brief the MPs on Sunday on the recent visit to New York of President Hassan Rohani.
The Iranian President left for New York on September 23 to attend the UN General Assembly.
In his address to the 68th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, the President elaborated on Iran’s international stance which was welcomed by the global nations.
One of the important events in New York was the phone call between Rohani and his US counterpart Barack Obama that took place minutes before the Iranian President left his hotel for John F. Kennedy International Airport.
The telephone conversation focused on Iran’s nuclear program.
