TEHRAN, (PNA/IRNA) -– Tehran’s interim Friday prayers leader, Hojjatoleslam Kazem Seddiqi, on Friday criticized anti-Iran remarks by the US president, Barack Obama, after his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, advising him not to be influenced by head of the Zionist regime.
Delivering his sermon to worshippers gathering at Tehran University campus, Hojjatoleslam Seddiqi reforred to a recent phone conversation between Iranian and US presidents, saying, “We are waiting for practical measures to be taken by the US officials.”
He called on both Iranian and US presidents to join hands to remove tyrannical sanctions on Iran which he said have bothered the US and European nations as well.
