NEW YORK, (PNA/Itar-Tass) –Thanks to the information system of the migration service, Russia controls and regulates the migration flows successfully.
“The violators of the migration rules are banned to arrive in our country for three years,” head of the Federal Migration Service Konstantin Romodanovsky told Itar-Tass on Wednesday.
“This is those who stayed in Russia for more than 120 days and did not notify the migration service about their location in any way,” he noted.
“We have the information about arrival and departure of a concrete foreigner and there is no other information.
If a person positions himself this way, neglects our rules, we will give to him some time to think about it.
He will spend three years in the homeland and will think how to behave in the future,” he said.
In his words, Russia will report one fourth of a million banned entries for this category of foreigners on Thursday.
“There are 248,000 of them now,” Romodanovsky noted. “The migration service imposes 2,500-3,000 bans daily and establishes order in this respect, so, restricts artificially the arrival of people, who neglect our customs and rules,” he added.
Konstantin Romodanovsky heads the Russian delegation at the dialogue of high level of the U.N. General Assembly on international migration and development that is being held in New York. The meeting will last until the end of this week.
