DUMAGUETE CITY, (PNA) – A three-story building of the Perpetual Help Community Cooperative, costing P20 million, will soon rise at a 378 square meter lot located along Nonong Limbaga Drive in Tanjay City, Negros Oriental.
The state-of-the-art PHCCI Tanjay branch is among the significant developments of the PHCCI Community.
Mayor Lawrence Teves of Tanjay City expressed his profound gratitude to PHCCI for the confidence in putting its investment in his town. The rising structure will provide a significant contribution to the economic development of Tanjay City, the mayor was quoted as saying.
Teves said with the state of the art and sophisticated design will help uplift the beauty of the growing business opportunity in Tanjay City, according to Maricar Aranas-Vensuelo of the PHCCI said.
The construction of the building will also provide opportunities for employment from the local workforce.
According to Dr. Caridad Maadil, chairperson of the Board of Directors aptly said the construction of the 3-storey PHCCI Tanjay branch is part of the cooperative’s mission in balancing between business activity and social impact in every community where PHCCI operates.
Rev. Fr. Moises Silva of the Saint James Parish Church in Tanjay City led the blessing of the site before the formal groundbreaking was held recently.
