MANILA, (PNA) –The public will hear on the Internet the conduct of the oral arguments at the Supreme Court (SC)on the case of the pork barrel and Malampaya Fund starting this October 8.
In the advisory of the SC Public Information Office (PIO) through their official Twitter account, the SC en banc approved the request of Atty. O. Theodore Te to allow the livestreaming of the audio component for the oral arguments in the case of the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF).
The request of Te, SC PIO chief and spokesman, was contained in his memorandum dated last September 30.
However, the SC clarified the livestreaming in the case of the PDAF was approved “pro hac vice”, meaning that, it was only for the same case.
This means that livestreaming will not be implemented for the conduct of future oral arguments at the SC of the other pending cases.
