MANILA, (PNA)– Pinoy Pride boxers, Genesis “Azukal” Servania and “King” Arthur Villanueva from the ALA Promotions stable in Cebu will face off with Panama’s Rafael “El Torito” Concepcion and “Jose”Matador” Cabrera of Mexico, respectively on Oct. 24 in Cebu City.

The 22-year old Servania of Bacolod City is a junior featherweight who currently holds a record of 21 wins with eight knockouts and no loss, fights aggressively with authoritative jab that sets up fluid combinations and is poised beyond his years while his Panamian opponent was WBA interim super flyweight champion AJ Banal’s conqueror on the 10th round in the evening of July 26, 2008.

“El Torito” owns a record of 18 win with eight KOs, six losses of which three are by KOs and one draw, ALA events manager Claire Lukban told Tuesday’s PSA Forum at Shakey’s Malate

”Should Genesis beat Concepcion, he will be sent to the US for further training and if he performs well, an international stint will be possible because de la Hoya is interested in promoting him,” added Lukban.

The encounter between Banal and Concepcion five years ago was the biggest promotions staged in Cebu Coliseum by ALA Promotions in partnership with Golden Boy Promotions of Oscar de la Hoya that pulled in some 15,000 fans.

This month, 31-year old, orthodox, bantamweight Concepcion will have a much younger but a less experienced foe in Servania who holds victories over three world title challengers.

Concepcion, a former interim world super fly, Federation fly and currently WBC Fecarbox superfly kingpin is preparing for the Filipino who recently won his fourth title over Konosuke Tomiyama last July in Macau which caught the attention of Top Rank Promotions.

On the other hand, “King”Villanueva with 23 (13 KO) with no loss is is the present WBO Asia Pacific super fly, OPBF superfly Philippines Games and Amusement Board fly champion who boasts of triumphs over former super flyweight king.

Arturo “Fuerte” Badillo of Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico and undefeated knockout artist Marco ‘Singwancha” Demecillo has found a tough match in Mexico’s Cabrera with 22(10 KO), 3 losses (KO 1) and two defeats.

Cabrera was a former Mexico flyweight, North American Boxing Federation,Interim WBC Youth World superfly champion.

He won over veteran Omar Andres Navaez of Agentina for the WBO superfly title, and Jovanny Soto for the North American Boxing Federation diadem.
