Automatic Saving Scheme

Isa sa pinaka-importanteng office dito para sa mga empleyado ng DepEd ay ang DepED Credit Cooperative (DepEDCC). Ito ay isang private cooperative kung saan ang mga miyembro nito ay mga taga-DepED din (natural!hahaha!) Bago ka mag-miyembro dito, kelangan kang bumili ng shares of stocks ng coop na kukunin sa automatic loan na Php 20,000.00 na ibibigay nila pag-nag apply ka na miyembro.

Taong 2003 pa yata ako naging miyembro dito. Pero noong una, di pa ako conscious kung gaano kalaki ang maitutulong ng coop sa akin. Nang malaman ko na yung shares of stock ay malaki ang interest kada taon. Nakaisip ako ng paraan para kumita dito.

Isa sa mga nabasa ko ay ang automatic saving scheme, kung saan, automatic na naisasantabi mo ang ilang porsyento ng sahod mo sa bangko. Ang mga naipon mo ay pwede mong magamit upang mag-invest o kaya pang-emergency.

Kaya nag-decisisyon ako na mag-allocate ng Php 500 bawat buwan sa DepEDCC; Php 250 para sa savings, yung kalahati naman pambili ng shares of stocks.

Ang maganda sa ganitong sistema, siguradong me naiipon ka. Hindi mo na agad nararamdaman ang panghihinayang kasi hindi mo naman na nahahawakan ang pera na nakatago sa coop.

Unang taon ko, Php 500.00 lanng ang interest, ganun din ng sumunod na taon. Ngayon 2007, aba nagulat ako Php 1,400.00 ang interest nya. Malamang malaki na ang share ko sa DepED CC.

Pano kaya kung gawin ko buong Php 500 ay i-allocate ko pambili ng share at yung annual interest eh i-automatic invest ko din sa DepEDCC? Hmmmm…..baka sa retirement ko ako na ang majority stock holder!!! Yuppie!
