LEGAZPI CITY, (PNA) — The Department of Education Bicol regional office will repair and rehabilitate 115 school buildings in various sites in its 14 divisions in the region for a total cost of P88.5 million.
The school building repair and rehabilitation projects will be funded under the 2013 Basic Educational Facilities Fund, according to information released by Jose B. Bonto, Bids and Awards Committee chair.
Submission and opening of bids are scheduled at 9:30 a.m., Oct. 7, while the issuance of bidding documents is ongoing up to Oct. 7, Bonto said.
A pre-bid conference was held last Sept. 24.
Bonto strongly encouraged prospective bidders to order or download the electronic copy of bidding documents from the PHILGEPS website: www.philgeps.net, for them to be included in the Document Request List of the project.
Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who will attend the opening of bids at the Deped-5, he said, adding that late bids will not be accepted.
Winning bidders should finish each division cluster of projects in 60 calendar days.
