TEHRAN, (PNA/IRNA) — Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif conferred with his counterparts from Ireland, Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Portugal on the sideline of 68th United Nations General Assembly.
Bilateral relations, avenues to bolster economic and trade ties as well as the latest regional and international developments were discussed in the meetings.
In his meeting with Kazakh foreign minister, the two diplomats stressed promotion of bilateral relations.
Zarif thanked Kazakhstan for its constructive role in nuclear talks between Iran and 5+1.

The Irish foreign minister focused on bilateral ties in his meeting with Zarif and reviewed latest regional and international developments.
The Cypriot foreign minister stressed Iran’s right for peaceful nuclear technology and stressed constructive cooperation between the two countries in regional and international issues.
The Azeri foreign minister extended an invitation to Zarif to visit his country.
In the meeting with the Portuguese foreign minister, Zarif underlined the need for expansion of mutual economic ties once the ground is prepared for further cooperation.
