MANILA, (PNA) — A magnitude-4.7 quake was recorded in Zambales province Friday afternoon, and felt in some areas in Metro Manila, according to Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
In its advisory, Phivolcs said the tremor occurred at 4:03 p.m. with its epicenter traced 127 kilometers southwest of San Antonio town in Zambales.
The quake, which was tectonic in origin, has a depth of10 kilometers.
The agency said that Intensity 2 was felt in Quezon City, Pasay City and Malabon City.
Phivolcs said there was no casualty or damage reported and does not expect any aftershocks from the quake.
