NEW YORK, (PNA/Saba) — The United States has hailed the successes that have been achieved so far at the level of the political settlement and the national dialogue conference in Yemen.
This came in the words of the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor , Uzra Zeya ,during her meeting on Wednesday in New York with Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi.
The U.S. official renewed his country’s positions in support of Yemen and its security, stability and unity and the effort of President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi during the remaining period of the transitional phase so as to lead Yemen to the parliamentary and presidential elections in 2014.
In the meeting, al-Qirbi and Zeya reviewed the progress that has been made by Yemen in the field of human rights and women’s empowerment and enhancing the role of the civil society organizations.
