MANILA, (PNA) — Three domestic flights of Philippine Airlines and its affiliate PAL Express were cancelled Tuesday afternoon because of different reasons.
According to the Department of Transportation and Communications, flight PR 862 Cebu to Manila did not push thru due to “operational requirements” which PAL cannot fully explain.
PAL flight information service said “operational requirements” would mean anything from engine or technical problem, or some requirements the plane or airline has to satisfy before being allowed to depart, among others.
Also cancelled were PAL Express flights 2P-263/264 Manila-Naga-Manila due to sunset limitation as Naga Airport lacks the capability for night operations due to lack of runway lighting.
