The Science and Technology Advisory Council – Japan (STAC-J) will celebrate its 12th year of continued growth and existence on December 8 (from 5 p.m.) at the Multi-Purpose Hall of Komaba International Student’s House in Tokyo, incumbent STAC-J president Mudjekeewis Santos said.
The anniversary program will begin with a welcome remarks and yearend report from Santos followed by an inspirational message from the Philippine Ambassador to Japan H.E. Domingo Siazon Jr. The event will also coincide with the awarding of graduation certificates to the students of Tuloy Aral Kompyuter Batch 18.
The Executive Committee for 2008, as well as new members, will also be inducted. A turnover ceremony will follow, after which, the incoming president for 2008 will deliver his remarks. A dinner and a performance from the ethnic band “Tampipi” will cap the festivity.
