HONG KONG, (PNA/Xinhua) — An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale jolted near the north coast of New Guinea, Papua New Guinea at 20:53:31 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 6.45 km, was initially determined to be at 3.2275 degrees south latitude and 144.2251 degrees east longtitude.
