NEW DELHI, (PNA/Xinhua) — At least 14 Maoist militants were killed in an encounter with police in Eastern Indian State of Odisha late Friday night, local news channel CNN-IBN reported.
A joint team of Special Operations Group (SOG) and the police at least shot 14 Naxals during a joint operation along the border between Odisha and Chhattisgarh State.
It is reported to be the biggest casualty of Naxals so far in Odisha.
The police have recovered a huge cache of arms and ammunition during the operation.
