WASHINGTON, (PNA/Xinhua) — U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will visit Israel and meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to discuss Mideast peace process and Syria, the State Department announced Friday.
According to a State Department press release, Kerry will travel to Jerusalem Sunday to have “an in-depth discussion with the Prime Minister on the final status negotiations between the Israelis and Palestinians.”
The department said they will also “focus on development in Syria.”
Kerry met with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas in London, Britain, Monday on the peace process.
