ISLAMABAD, (PNA/Xinhua) — Pakistani Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif, will pay a three-day official visit to Turkey from next Monday for talks on bilateral relations, focusing on economic cooperation, state media reported on Wednesday.
It will be Nawaz Sharif’s first visit to Turkey and second foreign trip since he has assumed office as prime minister in June. He had paid his first state visit to China in July.
While talking to the delegation of the Turkish Housing Authority led by Erdogan Bayraktar, the prime minister said, “I am looking forward to the upcoming visit to Turkey where Pak-Turkey bilateral relations would further strengthen.”
Meanwhile, a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office said, ” The visit will help strengthen economic relations between Pakistan and Turkey.”
