MANILA, (PNA) — Malacanang respects the issuance of travel advisories made by foreign countries for Zamboanga City where a standoff ensues between government forces and followers of Nur Misuari-led faction of the Moro National Liberation Front.
“Standard ‘yan. It’s their obligation to issue travel advisories and we perfectly understand that,” Presidential Spokesperson Edwin Lacierda said.
The embassies of Canada, US and Australia have issued travel advisories warning their citizens against going to Zamboanga City.
