MANILA, (PNA) — The country’s major oil companies implemented mixed price adjustment on their petroleum products on Tuesday.
This week’s movement on pump will include a price increase on gasoline products worth P0.30 per liter and rollback of P0.30 per liter on kerosene.
In a text advisory sent to Philippine News Agency (PNA), the uniform adjustments implemented at 6 a.m. Tuesday by oil giants Petron Corp, Chevron Philippine (formerly Caltex) and Shell Pilipinas.
Total Philippines also implemented the same increment except for kerosene.
The oil companies also said that there is no movement in diesel.
Petron in its price advisory sent to PNA, said the price adjustment mainly reflects the movements in the international oil market.
Seaoil said prices of Extreme 97, Extreme 95, and Extreme U increased by P0.30 per liter effective 6 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2013.
It, however, said price of its kerosene was cut by P0.30 per liter during the same time.
“There will be no movement for Exceed Diesel,” it said.
“These adjustments are to reflect price movements in the international petroleum market,” it added.
Similarly, PTT Philippines said price of its gasoline will increase by P0.30 per liter effective 12 noon Tuesday.
“On the other hand, there will be no increase in diesel price,” it added.
