Sharon talks about KC and Gabby

Posted on September 7, 2007

“It’s hard work! It’s been hard work!

“I am starting here, there will be lot of scenes filmed, if I’m not mistaken, some in Manila and some in Pampanga, I think. And then, we’re moving on to London and then we’re moving on to Prague [Czech Republic].

“I play the role of a caregiver. An English teacher sa Pilipinas na ang asawa ay nauna na sa England a couple of years before at meron kaming anak, who will be portrayed by Makisig Morales. Tapos, parang magkakaroon ng dynamics ba ng mag-asawa na hindi na nagkita ng a couple of years. Pagdating dun, ibang kultura.

Dagdag pa niya, “The only time that I was able to shoot a movie in some other country was for Jack En Jill sa Amerika [with Herbert Bautista] because isinabay ni Boss Vic [del Rosario] sa U.S. concert tour ko.”

KC CONCEPCION.

“She is still deciding on whether to live part of the time here, or part of the time in New York, or you know, she’s like you likes to travel,” sabi ng Megastar.

“Oh, I love how your mom puts it, napaka-prangka! ” sambit niya. “No, no, no! My father [the late Pasay City Mayor Pablo Cuneta] used to say, ‘Kahit metro aide, anak, basta mahal ka at mahal mo.’ Pero I’m sure he was praying, ‘Huwag naman yung ikaw ang magpapakain habambuhay. Dyusko, huwag namang ganun!’

Oo, physically, emotionally, mentally.

“First of all, on September 23, after Sharon is Aga’s show, That’s My Doc, right? Then, is the special that KC shot there in Paris. Very quietly, ABS-CBN, I think special projects, di ba? A group of them flew to Paris and just kind of documented her life, her last remaining weeks there until nakapag-empake na ‘ata siya,” kuwento ni Sharon.

Francis Pangilinan, her husband], naa-affect ako,” aniya.

GABBY CONCEPCION.

“Well, her father is, I will say is… I will refuse to say the past tense because he still is one of the best actors the industry has ever have. And it makes me a bit sad that somebody as good in his job, and as good-looking as he is, just doesn’t wanna, I mean, get back in the business.

“But you know, in a way, I’m happy for him because he is experiencing the kind of peace… I got this from KC because they were together, and I’m very happy he married a wonderful lady apparently, that I, you know… My heart was just overflowing with joy when KC said, ‘Ang bait-bait niya, Mama. She’s ano, she’s younger than Pup but she’s so…’ Lahat ng superlative, lahat ng puri, and that is the kind of life na I had always [wished] for her father,” sabi ni Sharon.

Papayagan ba niya na gumawa ng movie si Gabby with KC if ever may offer?

“Oh, dear! That’s something I have to admit I have not allowed myself to think about. Actually, the first question pa lang before that was somebody actually asked me, ‘Would you be open to do a movie with Gabby?’ ‘Ha?'” sabay tawa ni Sharon.

“A hundred million? Not even! Parang you’re gonna put my heart through the blender, not for anything. Alam mo bakit? I’ve been married to Kiko for eleven-and-a- half years.

I don’t like anybody disrespecting my husband or his [Gabby’s] wife. In that way, neither of them deserves that and we certainly don’t deserve it,” pagtatapos na niya.
