BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, (PNA) — The Provincial officials here are now deliberating to file legal actions against various business establishments which have failed to pay and settle their tax obligations to the provincial government.
Rhoda Moreno, provincial treasurer, said they have recommended the filing of appropriate legal actions in order to collect the more than P.297 million from food providers, communication service entities, cable service networks, power supply companies, pharmaceuticals, computer sales and rental centers, beauty parlors and shoe merchandizers.
“We have already issued demand letters in order to encourage the settling of their tax obligations which cover permit and franchise fees,” she said.
