LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, (PNA) — An electrical engineer and two others were arrested by the police in Alaminos City while doing a ‘pot’ session at 11:00 p.m. of Aug. 30 in Barangay Tawin-tawin, Alaminos City.
Chief Insp. Edward Caras, chief if police of Alaminos City, identified the suspects as Engr. Joeffrey Calixto Amosig, 34, of Poblacion, Bani; and Joel Tangalin, 53, and Apple Rosario Aquino, 27, both of Barangay Palamis, Alaminos City.
All were caught having shabu pot session inside a rice stock room in Barangay Tawin-tawin.
The three were alternately sniffing shabu through an aluminum foil while around a table.
Found by the police on top of the table were one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, two Blackberry and Nokia cellphones, six pieces of P20 bills, two pieces of lighter, seven coins in different denominations and three pieces of aluminum foil.
Suspects are now under the custody of Alaminos Police for investigation while the recovered pieces of evidence will be submitted to the Provincial Crime Laboratory Office Lingayen, Pangasinan for examination.
All the suspects are facing possible violation of Section 15 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
