Vonage to Showcase Philippines Unlimited Plan to Filipino Communities

Seafood City stores in San Diego and Los Angeles to host Vonage signup events throughout March

HOLMDEL, N.J., March 9, 2011 – Vonage Holdings Corp. (NYSE: VG), a leading provider of low-cost communications services connecting individuals through broadband devices worldwide, will have representatives at select Seafood City stores in San Diego and Los Angeles this month to promote the company’s new Philippines Unlimited calling plan to the cities’ Filipino communities. The plan offers unlimited calling to the Philippines, plus unlimited calling to the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico.

This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 11-13, Vonage representatives will be at the Seafood City Chula Vista, Mira Mesa and National City in San Diego and the Seafood City Eagle Rock, Panorama City and Cerritos in Los Angeles from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Representatives will also be at stores in Carson, West Covina and North Hills in Los Angeles in coming. New subscribers to the calling plan will receive a $20 Seafood City gift certificate (while supplies last).

“There are more than two million Filipinos living in the U.S., many of whom want to stay in close touch with relatives and friends in the Philippines,” said Mike Tempora, senior vice president of product management for Vonage. “We created this plan so they no longer have to worry about counting minutes when calling the Philippines.”

This groundbreaking plan includes unlimited calls calling to both landline and mobile numbers in the Philippines, as well as unlimited calling to the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico for $65/month.

Added Tempora, “We’re providing the convenient direct dial service and worry free calling that our customers desire. Now they can call family and friends without hassling with calling cards, watching the clock or paying high per-minute carrier rates.”
