MANILA, Dec. 10 (PNA) — Sales of American automaker, Ford Motor Company, in the Philippines market in November 2015 rose to 55 percent compared to the same period in 2014.
In a statement on Thursday, Ford Philippines reported that vehicle sales of the company last month reached to 2,975 units.
“The strong sales momentum was powered by continued strength in demand for the all-new Everest, the EcoSport and the new Ranger,” the company said.
Sales of Everest nameplate sold 1,151 units in November 2015 while EcoSport had 896 units and Ranger with 716 units.
Its premium nameplate, Ford Explorer posted unit sales of 80 units in November.
“November’s sales contributed to 22,548 units sold year-to-date and keeps Ford on track in delivering record full-year performance in the Philippines,” the company pointed out.
“Consumers want more choice in their car-purchasing experience and look to Ford for the strength of our vehicle portfolio,” said the new Ford Philippines Managing Director Lance Mosley.
Meanwhile, Ford will open its dealership network in Marilao before 2015 ends. This will be Ford’s 40th dealership network. (PNA)
