Sarah not affected by negative issues

PNS — IPINAGPAPASA-DIYOS na lang ni Sarah Geronimo ang ilang nagne-nega sa kanya.

Ayon sa Pop Princess, hindi naman talaga lahat ay mapi-please ng isang tao na tulad niya.

“Okey lang po ’yon. Basta ang importante, nagtatrabaho ako nang maayos at ibinibigay ko ang best ko,” sabi ng singer-actress na kakadeklara lang bilang entertainer of the year ng Aliw Awards.

Siya ang pinakabatang nanalo ng nasabing award.

Bukod sa pagiging entertainer of the year, isa pang major award ang napanalunan niya – ang best major concert in female category.

“Hanggang ngayon, hindi pa rin po ako makapaniwala na binigay nila sa akin ’yon. Sobrang na-appreciate ko. Maraming-maraming salamat sa Aliw,” sabi ni Sarah, na ngayon ay busy sa ginagawang bagong album under Viva Records.

Pagkatapos makuha ang pinakamataas na recognation sa Aliw, pakiramdam niya ay mas naging inspired siya sa trabaho.

“Ambisyosa po ako. Gusto kong maging katulad ni Michael Jackson,” sabi niya na natatawa na baka naman daw bigyan na naman iyon ng ibang kahulugan.

Patuloy ang tagumpay na tinatamasa ni Sarah. Sunud-sunod pa rin ang malalaki niyang endorsement. In fairness, lahat ng produktong iniendorso niya, patok at malakas ang benta sa market.

Bukod sa album, magiging abala rin ang singer-actress sa pelikulang ka-partner ang secret munang leading man.

“Kinikilig na ako. Sino kaya ’yon?” sabay tawa ni Sarah na parang alam kung sino.

Ang manager niyang si Vic del Rosario ang nakiusap na ’wag munang pangalanan ang magiging partner ni Sarah.

Excited na rin siya sa unang concert nila together ng concert king na si Martin Nievera sa Araneta Coliseum sa February.
