City exec inaugurates vital infrastructure investments

CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela, Nov 24 (PNA) — The local chief executive of this capital city of Isabela has led the inauguration of vital infrastructure investments in the city held yesterday.

Mayor Josemarie L. Diaz said the vital infrastructure projects that are completed since it started construction last year are the Department of Education (DepEd) – City of Ilagan administration building, Ilagan City Sports Complex, Ilagan City Mall, New Ilagan City public market buildings and the Ilagan City Hotel and Convention Center.

“The completion of the projects that were constructed in our city were realized through the unified efforts shared by all Ilaguenos” Diaz said during the inauguration.

He said the infrastructure projects are the living legacy which he will left to Ilaguenos as the city executive will leave the helm as the city leadership because he is already on his last term as the local chief executive.

“As the sun rises, Ilagan shall also rise again,” Diaz said.

“There is a strong urge deep inside us to extend a hand and to strengthen our spirit to stand up and face the challenge of the time,” Diaz said.

He said the whole officialdom of the City will strive to make the city rise above facing the challenges ahead as the city move forward for its progress.

“We will make the city of Ilagan to be the best entire the region, because we will not stop to do something for the best of Ilagan,” Diaz said.

Isabela first district Congressman Rodolfo Albano III and Governor Faustino G. Dy III and other provincial officials witnessed the inauguration of the infrastructure projects of the city government. (PNA)
