Lalong nagalit ang mga taga Hongkong

PNS — Sa halip na humupa ang galit ay lalo umanong “uminit ang ulo” ng mga taga Hong Kong makaraang pababain pa ng Pangulong Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III ang pagtingin sa opisyal ng pamahalaan ng Hongkong. Lumalabas na hindi itinuring na ka-level niya ang pinuno ng Hongkong at hindi tama sa protocol ang pagtawag ni Tsang sa kanya dahil ito ay isang “gobernador” lamang at “probinsiya” lang ng Tsina ang Hongkong. Matatandaan natin na ang Hongkong ay itinuring ng Tsina na isang Special Autonomous Region o halos isang “independent state” ng Tsina.

Hindi sinagot ni PNoy ang tawag ni Tsang sa kasagsagan ng hostage crisis at sabi niya sa kanyang presscon, hindi din niya sinagot ang sulat ni Tsang at ito ay nakakainsulto. Sinabi ni Donald Tsang na puno ng respeto ang sulat niya. Ang mga taga Hongkong naman ay puno ng sama ng loob dahil sa maliit pala ang tingin ni PNoy sa kanila sa kabila ng OFWs natin sa Hongkong at marami silang naging contribution sa economiya at business ng Pilipinas. .

Ayon kay Dolores Balladares-Pelaes, Chairwoman ng 6,000 strong member ng United Filipino Union sa Hong Kong, hindi umano nagustuhan ng mga taga Hong Kong ang ginawang pagdepensa ng Pangulo sa ilang miyembro ng gabinete at mga opisyal ng Philippine National Police (PNP) na pumalpak sa naganap ng hostage drama, sa naganap na media forum sa malacanang kamakailan.

Sinabi pa ni Dolores, ang inaasahan sanang paghupa ng galit ng mga taga Hong Kong ay ang gagawing pagsibak ng Pangulo sa mga opisyal ng gobyerno na natukoy na nagkamali sa pagresolba sa naganap na “hostage crisis”.

Ikinumpara pa ni Balares, ang ginawang pagsibak ng Pangulo kay Frisco Nilo ng PAGASA ay ura-urada na wala namang kapalpakan na ginawa pero ang mga tauhan ng PNP at ilang miyembro ng gabinete na hindi gumawa ng mabilis at matalinong aksiyon sa hostage drama ay nananatili pa sa puwesto hanggang ngayon. (30)

“Karamihan sa mga sinabi niya sa media ay hindi nakatulong, gaya ng lalo na ng sabihin ng Pangulo na katapat ni Tsang ay isang Governador lang kaya hindi sinagot ang tawag nito sa telepono” dagdag pa ni Ballares.
