Kris left nothing for James?

Posted on September 7, 2010

PNS –HOW true is the rumor that James Yap said that ex-wife Kris Aquino siphoned all his money, the reason why he is asking for a bigger contract fee from his team?

Kris’ camp demurs on the issue as they feel that the queen of all media is being used again. Kris in a recent interview has asked James to stop using the name of her late mother, former President Cory Aquino.

“Kris never touched James’ salary,” says our source. “What we know is that James has been sending half of what he’s earning to his family in Escalante.”

If it’s true, it clearly runs counter to what James’ legal counsel, Lorna Kapunan has said, “…James daw is demanding P80 million from Kris. That’s not true! We never made any demands for money and we never will. What James will file, when he’s ready to file, is what is provided by law, which is that the properties be equally split.”

Kris’ camp says otherwise. They say James wants to get the One Roxas property where Kris, Baby James and and Joshua are now staying, and another condo unit in Makati. James is also after the 3, 000 sq. m. lot in San Mateo.

“Pati raw mamahaling sasakyan, gustong kunin ni James,” says our source.

What puzzles Kris’ camp was the fact that after James was granted the visitation rights to his son, Baby James, he flew to the US.

“Inconsistent, di ba?” asked our source. “Dapat sinamantala na niya ‘yun kung talagang miss na miss na niya ang kanyang anak.”
