MANILA, Oct. 13 (PNA) — A leading global provider of cloud business management software sees huge business opportunities in the Philippines as more local small, medium and large enterprises tap available software solutions to boost growth.

“The Philippines is a large market by population. The development is also very fast here. You have a lot of retail, a lot of chains, a lot of companies coming in and setting up here… The Philippines is one of the very large markets for us in Asia and in Southeast Asia,” said Laurent Dedenis, president of international operations at Acumatica Pte Ltd, in an interview.

Dedenis stressed that a lot of small, medium and large companies here need all types of products or platform that will empower them and their people to acquire and share information that will help manage their operations and support growth.

“Asian businesses are growing and expanding rapidly beyond their shores. To support their growth, customers are demanding user-friendly world-class business and management solutions based on industry best practices and global standards of compliance. Acumatica is able to offer them the solutions that allow their users to work anywhere at any time and on any device,” he said.

Apart from the Philippines, Dedenis said his company is also focusing on Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia in Southeast Asia.

Acumatica, a cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) company, on Tuesday announced its first International Integrated Solutions Providers Tour featuring innovative mobile or cloud-based business software.

More than 200 partners and customers are expected to participate at the events across Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, Phnom Penh in Cambodia, Manila in Philippines and Jakarta in Indonesia, and plans for the Tour to go to South Africa are underway.

The Integrated Solutions Providers Tour showcases the innovative solutions with expertise in areas such as retail, manufacturing, business intelligence, warehouse management and distribution management. (PNA)
