MANILA, Oct. 13 (PNA) – Singapore-based developer Sindicatum Renewable Energy taps Sterling and Wilson for the construction of its 23-megawatt (MW) solar farm at Clark Freeport Zone.
”The new project in Clark will be constructed under the Department of Energy (DOE) Philippines Solar Power Procurement Program under the Feed-in-Tariff (FIT) mechanism,” Sterling and Wilson said in a statement Tuesday.
The company targets to finish the construction of the power plant by February 2016.
The Indian-firm stressed it will transfer the power to the nearest National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) substation.
The EPC contractor added it will design the power plant structure to withstand adverse soil conditions and high wind speeds. (PNA)
