Willie reacts on Ms. Linggit Tan’s statement

PNS — Hindi iinaasahan ni Wil-lie Revillame ang naging pahayag ni Ms. Linggit Tan, head ng TV Production ng ABS-CBN, na walang na-ging kasunduan sina Willie at ang ABS-CBN na ibabalik ang TV host sa noontime show na Wowowee last July 31.

Sa naging pahayag ni Ms. Linggit, parang ang luma-labas na si Willie pa ang naghahabol para makabalik ulit sa Wowowee. Ang lumalabas, walang offer na naganap sa pagitan ng Dos at ni Willie.

Na agad namang sinagot ni Willie sa interview sa kanya ng Paparazzi last Sunday afternoon.

“Nagulat ako kay Ms. Linggit Tan, dahil nirerespeto ko ‘yan,” panimula ni Willie.

Ikinuwento rin ni Willie na alas-singko ng hapon noong dumating si Ms. Linggit sa bahay niya kasama pa si Jay Montelibano, Business Unit Head ng Wowowee. Kasama ni Willie that time ang abogado niyang si Atty. Leonard de Vera at ang kaibigang si Rey Reyes.

Doon daw nila sinimulang pag-usapan ang tungkol sa Wowowee at pati na rin sa ibang segments ng show, na ayon pa kay Willie ay gusto niyang idagdag para sa ikagaganda ng show at para mas marami pa siyang matulu-ngan.

“Dahil sobrang bagsak na ng ratings ng Wowowee, gusto nilang maka-recover na agad. Lahat po ng ito ay napag-usapan namin ni Ms. Linggit Tan kaharap ang lawyer ko at si Jay.”

Muling iginiit ni Willie, hindi siya nagsisinungaling.

Mariing sinabi ng TV host, “in my heart, in my mind in my soul nagsasabi ako ng katotohanan.”

Dumipensa naman si Willie sa sinabi ni Ms. Linggit na kaya pinag-aaralan umano ng management na ibalik si Willie ay dahil marami ang may ayaw na bu-malik ang TV host hanggang hindi nagbabago at sumu-sunod sa work ethics ng kumpanya.

Aniya: “Basta ako, sa inyong lahat, hindi ako magsisinungaling. Ako mismo, hindi ko lolokohin sa lahat, ang sarili ko. Kasi ‘pag nagsalita ko sa inyo ng kasinungalingan, hindi ako makakatulog mamayang gabi kasi nagsisinungaling ako sa sarili ko. Bago ko kayo lokohin, hindi ko muna lolokohin ang sarili ko. Basta ako, malinis po ang aking kunsensiya, kung ano po ang nakikita ninyo sa akin sa TV, ‘yun po ang aking pagkatao. Ni minsan, hindi ako naging plastic kahit kanino. Kung masama nag loob ko, masama. Kung masaya ako, ma-saya. Pero hindi ako ‘yung nasa harap ng kamera at magbabasa ng teleprompter at may kaba na hindi totoo ang sinasabi.

“Ang sabi ni Ms. Linggit Tan sa kanyang interview, sa kanyang statement, hindi pa raw ako kailangang magbalik. Kailangan ko pa raw magbago. Bakit ko kailangang magbago? Hindi naman ako masamang tao, hindi naman ako mamatay-tao, hindi naman ako drug pusher. Ang tanging gusto ko lang, makapagpasaya ng mga Pilipino, lalo na ‘yung may mga karamdaman at may sakit.”

Abangan na lang natin kung saan hahantong ang lahat ng ito sa mga susunod na araw.
