MANILA, Sept. 22 (PNA) – Monte Solar Energy Inc., a joint venture company between Bronzeoak Philippines and AC Energy Holdings Inc., has hired German-firm Conergy as the contractor for its 18-megawatt (MW) solar farm in Bais, Negros Oriental.
”Conergy will be responsible for the engineering and design, component procurement, and project management of the new plant. This solar farm is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of next year,” the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
The solar farm will produce 24,205 megawatt hours (MWh) of electricity yearly, enough to supply 10,085 households. It is the first phase of a 40-MW project.
The solar farm will have a land area of 213,292 square meters.
The company also noted this is its third project with Bronzeoak Philippines, while this is its first project with the Ayala Group.
Founded in 1998, Conergy is a solar downstream company, specializing in design, finance, build and operation of high performance solar systems for homes, businesses and utility-scale power. (PNA)
