TUGUEGARAO CITY, Sept. 20 (PNA) — Police operatives on Saturday have been working on a robbery motive in the killing of a 44-year-old farmer in Barangay San Juan, Buguey, Cagayan.
Police Chief Inspector Rodel Urbina, Buguey police chief, identified the fatality as Gilmar Viernes, 44, bachelor and native of Sitio Maububong, San Juan, Buguey town.
A bunch of undetermined amount of money was missing inside the house of Viernes. He reportedly sold fruit tree seedlings to his client prior to the killing.
Probers have been also eyeing a possible vendetta in a previous grudge with a fellow farmer in the village.(PNA)
