MANILA, Sept. 10 (PNA) — Low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific on Thursday announced that it will add three new international routes starting Dec 17.

The airline company is set to launch direct flights from Manila to Fukuoka, Japan; from Cebu to Taipei, Taiwan; and, from Davao to Singapore all in one day.

First to be launched is the airline’s direct Manila-Fukuoka thrice weekly service. The maiden flight departs Manila at 2:15 p.m. and arrives in Fukuoka at 6:55 p.m. The return flight departs at 8 p.m. and arrives at 10:40 p.m. Fukuoka is CEB’s 4th destination in Japan after Osaka, Tokyo (Narita) and Nagoya.

The next launch is the airline’s direct Davao-Singapore twice weekly service. The maiden flight departs Davao at 5:35 p.m. and arrives in Singapore at 9:10 p.m. The return flight departs at 9:55 p.m and arrives at 1:40 a.m. This is the airline’s first international route from Davao.

The last launch for the day is the airline’s direct Cebu-Taipei thrice weekly service. The maiden flight departs Cebu at 9:45 p.m. and arrives in Taipei at 12:25 a.m. The return flight departs at 1:05 a.m and arrives at 3:45 a.m. This is CEB’s 6th international route from Cebu. It also offers direct flights from Cebu to Hong Kong, Singapore, Incheon, Busan and Tokyo (Narita).

Cebu Pacific said that all three new routes would utilize its brand-new Airbus A320 aircraft fleet. The airline’s network currently spans 63 destinations on 97 routes.

To promote its new routes, Cebu Pacific will be holding a seat sale from Sept. 10 to 13, 2015, or until seats last. Cebu-Taipei and Manila-Fukuoka seats are up for grabs at Php 2,688 all-in and Php 6,688 all-in respectively, for travel from Dec. 17, 2015 to Jan. 31, 2016.

Meanwhile, Php 1,488 all-in Davao-Singapore seat sale fares are for travel from Dec. 17, 2015 to July 31, 2016.

Cebu Pacific vice president for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog, in a statement, welcomed the airline’s latest development as an opportunity to open up new markets for tourism and business.

“We look forward to seeing the ‘Cebu Pacific effect’ in the new routes we will operate. We’ve seen time and again how connectivity and CEB’s trademark low fares stimulated travel,” Iyog said.

“It has always been our commitment to contribute to the country’s economic and tourism agenda. We will continue to develop our Philippine hubs to offer fast, affordable flights to more travelers across our network,” she added.
