CITY OF ILAGAN, Sept. 9 (PNA) — The Isabela Police Provincial Office (IPPO) is expecting the arrival of Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Mar Roxas tomorrow, Thursday, to turn over 34 patrol cars for police stations in Isabela.
IPPO Police Community Relations office chief Supt. Eric Gumarang said the Mahindra type of patrol cars arrived at IPPO last week and are now lined-up at the IPPO grounds ready to be distributed to the municipal police stations of Isabela.
Gumarang said the patrol cars distribution is part of mobility assistance of the national government through the DILG and Philippine National Police (PNP) in police stations to effectively carry out the maintenance of peace and order in the country.
“The Mahindra patrol cars are distributed to enhance the capabilities of the police force in the maintenance of peace and order,” Gumarang said.
Before the formal distribution of the patrol cars, to be conducted is the formal opening of the IPPO fun shoot inside the IPPO firing range to be attended by active police and military personnel and responsible civilian gun holders.
The fun shoot of IPPO aims to enhance the shooting marksmanship of police and military personnel as well as the gun enthusiasts from Isabela. (PNA)
