Elmo simply smiled at Rhian’s Innuendos

Posted on June 19, 2010

PNS — ELMO Magalona is definitely one of Party Pilipinas’ most exciting performers. His production numbers in the said GMA musical variety show are always talked about. First, there was his duet with Julie Ann San Jose of Charice Pempengco’s Pyramid. Then, there’s his number with Ely Buendia where they sang the Beatles’ Bus Stop and Higante.

Both are culled from their album “In Love and War.” This was the late Francis Magalona’s supposedly collaborative album with the Eraserheads’ lead singer which Elmo finished. Last week, his rendition of his late dad’s signature song “Mga Kababayan Ko” was also a hit.

“I get overwhelmed whenever I hear thunderous applause from the audience while performing. It’s flattering that in spite of the fact that I’m just new in the business, fans like me. I hope they will support all my endeavors especially now that I already entered the acting department as one of Barbie Forteza’s leading men in “Pilyang Kerubin,” he states.

Is it okay for him to complete the love triangle in the story along with the popular love team of Barbie and Joshua Dionisio?

“It’s fine. I don’t have any problem with that. Barbie and Joshua are nice people. Anyway, I’m just starting and still have to learn a lot.”

Asked for his reaction regarding Rhian Ramos’ statement that she’s got a crush on him and will wait until he reaches 20, Elmo just smiled.
