MANILA, Aug. 31 (PNA) — Petron Corp. will cut liquefied petroleum gas prices by Php 25 for its 11-kilogram cylinder on Tuesday.
In an advisory Monday, Petron said it would “rollback Gasul prices and Fiesta Gas prices by Php 2.25 per kg or nearly Php 25 per 11-kg household cylinder effective 12:01 a.m. on Sept. 1.”
The oil company added it would also reduce Xtend autoLPG prices by Php 1.25 per liter.
According to the Energy Department’s oil monitor last week, LPG had a net price reduction of Php 8.25 per kg, with its price ranging from Php 460 to Php 665 for 11-kg cylinders.
Petron Corp. noted the price reduction reflects movements in the international contract prices of LPG for September. (PNA)
