3 arrested anew in Pangasinan drug buy-bust

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, Aug. 31 (PNA)–Joint police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency operatives arrested a suspected drug pusher during a raid in his home in Barangay Linoc, Sta. Barbara town.

The suspect, identified as Ramel Reyes, 48, yielded a Cal .45 Llama Max II pistol with magazine loaded with 13 live ammunition, five heat-sealed plastic transparent sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu and one disposable lighter.

The operation was undertaken jointly by operatives of the Sta. Barbara police, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), the Binmaley police, Highway Patrol Group and the Provincial Public Safety Company on Aug. 30.

Arrested suspect was long listed in the Drug Watch List and is wanted by the Binmaley police.

Reyes and the confiscated items were placed under the custody of CIDG Pangasinan for proper disposition.

Meanwhile, the police arrested two more drug pushers on Aug. 30 in separate towns of Pangasinan.

Arrested in a buy-bust operation at 2:00 p.m. in Puelay, Villasis, Pangasinan, by elements of the Villasis police station, in coordination with PDEA 1, was Clarvy Soblechero, 32, tricycle driver of the same place.

Confiscated from his possession were five plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, buy bust money a P500 bill and his tricycle bearing plate no. AZ-0518 used by the suspect as means of transportation.

Arrested in Nancayasan, Urdaneta City by joint elements of the Urdaneta police and also in coordination with PDEA 1 was Eligio Gonzalo of the same place,

Confiscated from his possession were three heat-sealed plastic transparent sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu and the P500 marked money. (PNA)
