MANILA, Aug. 27 (PNA) — Department of Justice (DOJ) Secretary Leila M. De Lima hinted on her plans in the elections in 2016 coinciding with the celebration of her 56th birthday on Thursday.
During her speech in front of the guest prosecutors, DOJ officials, her mother and her eldest son, De Lima expressed her profound gratitude to her co-workers in the DOJ.
De Lima said that it is now time for a new chapter in her life from “point J to Point S,” which was loudly applauded by her visitors during lunchtime at the parking area of the DOJ compound where a big tent was erected.
The DOJ Secretary admitted that she could not preempt the announcement of Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas II, or President Benigno S. Aquino III on whoever will fill up the line up of the Liberal Party (LP) for the 2016 elections.
De Lima has said earlier that she has already made a decision to take another step in the new challenge in her life. (PNA)
