The Chartered Financial Analyst Society of the Philippines (CFAP), a member of the CFA Institute which is a global, non-profit association for investment professionals, once again partners with the Asia Pacific Association for Fiduciary Studies (APAFS) in the 10th Pacific Regional Investment Conference (PRIC), to be held in Manila, Philippines.
APAFS, the premier educational association for prudent fund stewardship, has been organizing the PRIC for ten years now. “We annually organize the PRIC to educate the region and build its professional accountability as the markets constantly grow,” says Daniel Roland, CIMA, Executive Director of APAFS.
By backing this year’s prestigious investment conference, CFAP persistently promotes and develops ethical and professional standards within the investment sector. April Lyn Tan, CFAP President, says, “This is a strategic partnership to enhance our objective to continually encourage professional development and facilitate open exchange of information in the investment industry.”
This year’s PRIC is expected to bring together more than 400 fiduciaries and investment professionals and world-class finance experts in one roof for a highly-esteemed discussion on current global economic issues and trends concerning the region.
A number of key players in the financial industry have also pledged their support in the upcoming conference: the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX), Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), Trust Officers Association of the Philippines (TOAP) and Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP).
The 10th PRIC is set to be held on October 14 to 15 at the New World Hotel in Manila. To learn more about the conference and APAFS, visit www.apafs.org.
