MANILA, Aug. 23 (PNA) — With typhoon “Ineng” slowly but steadily moving out of the country, the number of seagoing passengers stranded has now dropped to just 109, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said in its Sunday noontime update.
The figure was 266 passengers lower than the 375 posted in the PCG’s 4 a.m. Sunday update.
The number of vessels still stranded was placed at seven along with 35 motor bancas and two rolling cargoes. (PNA)
