CAMP MARCELO A. ADDURU, Tuguegarao City, Aug. 17 (PNA) — “Promotion connotes greater responsibility.”
This was the standing challenge for the newly-promoted Valley Cops as they took their oath over the weekend during the Mass Oath Taking and Pinning of Rank for the Regular Promotion Program of Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCOs).
PRO2 OIC regional director Chief Superintendent Ranier Quibin Idio, administered the Oath Taking Ceremony and pinning of rank insignias to the 548 Police Non-Commissioned Officers at the Police Regional Office 2 (PRO2) Grandstand.
Idio reminded the officers that more than the increase in compensation and benefits, such feat is also accompanied by a bigger responsibility to serve the people.
“Take your promotion as a new challenge for it requires more work. I encourage you to get more involved in whatever capacity or position you have. Adopt a will to succeed because that is what you owe yourself,” Idio added.
The group of promotees is composed of 54 SPO4s; two SPO3s; 96 SPO2s; 103 SPO1s; 147 PO3s; and 145 PO2s. (PNA)
