CITY OF ILAGAN, Isabela, Aug. 11 (PNA) — An agricultural supply company lost Php 51,500 cash from two suspected thieves in Nueva Era, San Manuel town on Monday, police said.
Police Supt. Manuel Bringas, Isabela police plans and operations chief, said two unidentified men entered the establishment and pretended to be customers of AQ Flores Seed Center owned by 39-year-old Aylene Flores.
One of the men went to the cashier and poked a fan knife to the cashier’s head and took the money from the drawer of the table.
Afraid of her safety, the cashier was forced to give the money.
The robbers immediately left on board a motorcycle without plate number.
Police operatives have been probing the case, studying motives such as a possible inside job. (PNA)
