Metro Manila police units receive 19 Personnel Troopers Carriers

Posted on August 3, 2015

MANILA, Aug. 3 (PNA) – Newly installed National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) head Chief Supt. Joel D. Pagdilao on Monday led the distribution of 19 units of KIA 4X4 Personnel Troopers Carrier to five police districts at Camp Bagong Diwa Bicutan, Taguig City.

Pagdilao distributed three units each of personnel troops carrier to the District Public Safety Battalion (DPSB) of the Northern Police District (NPD), Eastern Police District (EPD), Manila Police District (MPD), Southern Police District (SPD), and Quezon City Police District (QCPD), while two units to the Regional Public Safety Battalion (RPSB-NCRPO) and one unit each to Special Weapon and Tactics (SWAT) of the MPD and QCPD.

According to Pagdilao, the vehicles would add to the mobility assets of the NCRPO, which are also part of the program of the SILG for the continuous upgrading and modernization of the NCRPO’s operational capabilities.

Pagdilao reminded the DPSB Commanders and the end-users of the vehicles to take good care of them like their own vehicles to prolong the serviceability.

“Be responsible enough in managing and taking care of our resources. Sapagkat wala tayong ibang aasahan na magmamalasakit sa mga kagamitang natin kundi tayo mismo na siyang gagamit sa mga opisyal na lakad,” he said.

Pagdilao also congratulated the 31 newly appointed Non-Uniformed personnel with different plantilla positions to be assigned in the different police districts of the NCRPO.

He challenged them also to push beyond limit and make a habit of challenging themselves on doing more than what is expected.

Further, Pagdilao emphasized the reward-punishment program of the NCRPO wherein good performance will be given corresponding rewards and recognition while any act of betrayal of oath and violation of law will be given due punishment. (PNA)
