MANILA, Aug. 3 (PNA) — The Department of Justice (DOJ) has issued a subpoena against the officials of One Dream Marketing (One Dream), a networking company allegedly involved in an investment scam.
Summoned to appear during the hearing on August 13 and Sept. 1, 2015 are Arnel Gacer, One Dream president/chief executive officer; Jobelle de Guzman, vice president; Incorporators, namely Ariel Gacer, Richard Ramos, Jay-Ar De Guzman; members of the management team, namely Marlon De Guzman, Judith Itoh, Jun De Guzman, Lui De Guzman, Linda De Guzman and Joel De Guzman.
The case of syndicated estafa against One Dream will be handled by a panel of prosecutors, consisting of Assistant State Prosecutors Susan Villanueva, Rohaira Lao and Mary Ann Parong.
This is the first batch of complaints against One Dream.
The respondent company started its operation almost two months ago, but on July 11, 2015, the investors were caught surprised when the company suddenly stopped its operation.
The company closed down allegedly because it could not anymore pay the promised “cash-out” to its investors of “10-percent return of investment” each day or a “300-percent” monthly profit.
In the Articles of Incorporation of One Dream, it is registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to sell various goods but not investment products. (PNA)
